Our Natural Ingredients
SYLOOK PARIS® products relies on the concentration and quality of the selected natural ingredients in order to formulate care & beauty ranges. Our formulation & composition forge the notoriety of SYLOOK PARIS® brand and the reputation of our products delivering without compromise proven results but also beneficial for health. Our Top Natural Ingredients are:
ACACIA SENEGAL GUM
Acacia gum comes from the dried sap of the acacia tree. The resinous substance consists of branched long-chain carbohydrates. Acacia gum is used as a binder and thickener and has a firming effect on the skin.
BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA) BUTTER
Shea butter is a semi-solid, buttery vegetable fat. Skin-friendly, shea butter is primarily used to improve consistency. It leaves a fine film on the skin that has smoothing properties and retains moisture.
BETA VULGARIS (BEET) ROOT EXTRACT
Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root Extract, also known as beet root extract, is often used as a coloring agent in cosmetic formulations.
Modern science demonstrates Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root Extract has even more benefits, primarily as an antioxidant.
In addition to scavenging pro-aging free radicals, researchers have found that beet root extract seems to have some regenerative abilities on skin cells as well.
HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL
Pale yellow to clear sunflower oil is a light vegetable oil. It works as a perfect massage oil and is ideal for the care of normal to combination skin.
Thanks to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic and oleic acids, the oil has strong care properties and is suitable as a carrier for active ingredients.
HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL
Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a hydrogenated vegetable oil that can be processed into fine wax beads. Based on vegetable oil, the wax beads can be used as fine exfoliating particles in cosmetic products.
RICINUS COMMUNIS (CASTOR) SEED OIL
Colorless to pale yellow castor oil penetrates the skin cells very well, protecting them from drying out. In products that use colored pigments, it helps the pigment adhere to the skin.
SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL
Jojoba oil is an oily liquid wax very similar to the protective layer of human skin. At the same time, it also supports the barrier function of the skin, thus protecting the skin from water loss, without leaving it greasy.
It is very gentle on the skin, easily absorbed and is therefore suitable for products designed for the care of all skin types, especially dry skin. Due to its stability, it is also suitable as a base oil.
TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE (CLOVER) FLOWER EXTRACT
Clover flowers contain isoflavones and flavonoids. Clover extract soothes the skin and has found use in hair care products as well as in sensitive skin care products.
An ethical choice that complicates formulations and increases production costs. But we couldn’t see ourselves doing it any other way!
